Keeping sight

Of the light

So much light

Too bright for my eyes

Above me, beside me

All enveloping

But behind me

Is the shadow

I can see

He is always with me

Sometimes here, sometimes there

The shadow distorts

Magnified, dark & untouchable

Only when there is light

The shadow is revealed

The Light of the world

Shows me the shadow

All around me, everywhere

I see it

I raise my eyes

Learn to see

The all enveloping

And belief.
