Foundation Meant to Shine Foundation Meant to Shine does not receive government subsidies. The care for the children in our projects Promise and Embrace is made possible, in part, by generous contributions from friends, private donors, churches, schools and companies.

Counting the costs

A lot of money is needed to provide a home and care for children in need. To give you an idea, you will soon be able to download this year's budget. 

You have been able to read that we, together with others, are taking care of children and are creating opportunities for them to shine, and to have a bright future. We would love to do this together with you. We need your support!! 

Making a donation

The easiest way to support our work is to make a donation. Our account number is 39.53.75.320 Foundation Meant to Shine, Rabobank, Dordrecht, The Netherlands. You can also support a particular project, all you have to do is to name that project when you make your donation.   

We would like to be able to thank you for your donation. If you would like that as well, make sure to send your name and address in an e-mail after you have made your donation. 

Organize an event

You can sponsor our work or raise awareness by organizing an event. If that is something you are interested in, contact us or our contact person in the Netherlands  Mirjam van Herk. We would love to give you more information!

Other activities

Meant to Shine organizes annual events for the children, such as the vacation plan. We usually try to raise specific funds for these activities. Watch for more more news about these events on this site and in our newsletter. You can help us make these special activities possible.

Prayer support

Your support is the basis for our work, not just your financial support. We also need your support in prayer, for us, and for the children. Would you pray with us and for us and for the work we do? If you would like to receive specific things to pray for, send us an e-mail with the subject 'prayer-requests' and you will receive regular e-mails with topics you can pray for.
